To goal is to relieve poverty, suffering, and disease through projects under its direction. By providing humanitarian aid to the poor, aged, and disabled, or otherwise unfortunate people of the world that further the same purpose. Also conducting research, projects, hold lectures, publish appropriate materials, and convene conferences, workshops, and conventions on a national and international scale which further this vision and world peace.

WHO ARE WE
URAFIKI WA KUTOA MISAADA YA KIMATAIFA – KENYA also referred to as “Urafiki-Kenya” is a catalyst for social change and progress. Its service projects stresses the importance of co-operative efforts for sustained long-term development.
Urafiki-Kenya is a non-governmental organization (NGO) registered under section 10 of the Non-Governmental Organizations Co-ordination Act of the Government of Kenya, Ref. No. OP.218/051/2001/0196/2258, is non-political, is a public, non-profit agency that networks and cooperates with other non-profit organizations and agencies that desire to provide some level of humanitarian aid and assistance or that have similar purpose and vision.
Urafiki (IRFF)-Kenya was established on 16th SEPTEMBER 2001 as a Kenyan indigenous NGO working towards empowering the poor through projects under its direction. The main sectors of activities have been in health, peace and reconciliation activities, Education, child-care programs, and environment.

Community mobilization, sensitization, and capacity building through training, and providing support to community development initiatives.

High Achievers Academy School, Kibwezi Area, Eastern Kenya, Tree planting project – December 2020
The tree planting activity was carried out by students at High Achivers Academy that is located in Kibwezi Constituency, Eastern Kenya. This activity was in support of maintaining a good environmental sustainability and to mitigate against adverse climate change.

Kwakyai Primary School: Tree planting project – December 2020
The tree planting activity was carried out by students at Kwachai Primary School that is located in Kibwezi Constituency, Eastern Kenya. The purpose of this action was to help alleviate the negative effects of climate change and to preserve a healthy environmental sustainability.

The Kibwezi Tree Project Report _2024
This project, which was initiated by Urafiki Kenya NGO, is located in Kibwezi Sub–County, South-eastern Kenya. It is an integrated project carried out in partnership with IRFF – Germany.
Kibwezi Resource Center
The major objective of the service project was to construct a rural resource center that will address the need of practical educational skills for more than 5,000 unemployed youth population that have dropped from formal education without any occupational training skills in the Kibwezi regional area.
The project objective has a broader aim of enhancing a cross border cultural, social and family values among the participating countries and volunteers.
Kibwezi Child-Care Program (KCCP)
The KCCP entails the construction of a community-based resource & education center that will assist, among others, in the running of a long-term orphans care program in the district.
Strengthening the Future, Urafiki Kenya has been actively involved in the development and support of educational institutions and schools because it understands the value of education in underserved populations.
